Unmasking Biplab Pal and his pathological psyche

Part-3

[This is going to be the last part of my response to Biplab Pal on this thread. For Part-1 & Part-2, please refer to following link: https://gold.mukto-mona.com/Articles/jahed/unmasking_BP.htm I hope, Biplab and his likes wouldnt take it personally and instead, treat it as a constructive & friendly criticism. J.A. ]

I start with following quotes from Biplab Pal, the editor, and the his site Vinnomot.com

`We consider sexual & women liberation are integral part of secularism-that is our philosophy and we are pursuing it.'
-Biplab Pal, editor, Vinnomot.com

'My sex appeal gets me hot offers' -Udita Goswami*
-from vinnomot.com

And then......

Biplab Pal: <<I will not respond to a thorough personal attack of a completely insane soul called Jahed Ahamed. However, Jahed and Mehul are proving again and again, that MM guidelines of no personal attack are of very little value...>>

Jahed Ahmed: That's an artful way to avoid answering questions that have chances to expose your hypocrisy. (I don't wanna bore readers by repeating some of the questions I asked earlier about the validity of your comments re: India attacking BD/PAK/Nepal which you deliberately overlooked).

<<What if, I can show 80% of my articles are against religious fundamentalism-Hinduism and Islam alike?>>

People of Bangladesh are not just Muslims. They are also Bangalees of their own kinds, although certain ways they differ from their counter parts of WB, India. If you are really honest and care about the people of Bangladesh, an honest piece of advice from real experience:

I spent 5 yrs in India. Today most of my friends are non-Muslims and a good no. of them is from India. To date, I'm in touch with many of my Indian college friends.
One thing always appeared strange to me. Bangladeshi Bangalees can get along much easily and make friends much faster with other Indians than the Indian Bangalees from West Bengal (and many Pakistanishere excluding those Bangladeshis who believe in and live by ummah sentiments). I don't know if it's due to the superiority complex of Bangalees of the WB or due to the inferiority complex of Bangladeshi Bangalees. But the same I watched during my visit to UAE and am watching even here in US. One common allegation about Bangalees of WB is that their tone is always condescending and patronizing ("unnasik") when they are given a chance to talk about literature, art, politics with a Bangalee from Bangladesh--be it a Hindu or Muslim--although there always are some rare yet pleasant exceptions such as late writer Annada Shankar Ray (a genuine lover of Bangladeshi Bangalees). Thus, you may need to work on your tone a little bit before you can make the best use of your intellectual honesty, especially when you deal with the people of Bangladesh.

<<Vow, show me a single article [ yes a single article] where I have supported BJP. Then start talking about Mask...Can you?>>

Communalism and parochial mind-set come in many shapes and forms. Thus there's no guarantee, a zealot Muslim-hater Hindu fundamentalist would be always a BJP supporter as there's no guarantee that a Hindu-hater Muslim fanatic would be a Jamayat supporter in all instances.

<<India has right to bomb terror camps inside Bangladesh and Bangladesh is also having right to bomb terror camps inside India.>>

Is it the best solution from a man of science & reason if we review the bitter history of Indo-Bangla relation? I say, no and suggest otherwise. First, mistrust needs to be removed from the mind of both sides. All SAARC countries have to realize--
without a sincere inter-regional cooperation, in each country none but the terrorists are winning. Besides, considering the disproportion of people belonging to different religions living in the SAARC countries, no single country would succeed thru' unilateral incursion into its neighbor since that is likely to cause massive riots and inter-religious/racial conflicts.

<<I am also delighted to know that you have so much hatred against prostitutes of Sonagachi who are probably one of the most oppressed section of women in India-thanks for revealing your "humanist" attitude against poor helpless prostitutes.>>

The last thing as a humanist I wanna do is to hate a woman just because she's been forced into prostitution. No way! No one is born a prostitute. It's our typical outlook in a patriarchal society that is one of the main causes why we've negative views about "sonagachhi" in Kolkata or "tanbazaar" in Dhaka or Las Vegas in USA. Anyway, mine was just an analogy, and by no way, an insult to those poor women.
But what service are you rendering personally to uphold and preserve a woman's dignity? Is it publishing erotic pictures of nude woman under headlines such as "'My sex appeal gets me hot offers'-Udita Goswami"? Please don't be an accomplice in treating women just like a commodity as we see in capitalist world (where even in a cell phone ads, a half naked girl is needed). I'm not critical of those gals, rather, of the system although certain greedy women models are ready to do any thing for money.

<<Anyhow VM-MM comparison does not mean much to me- VM already surpassed MM in alexa ranking and our readership reach is couple of times higher [Though I do not believe in Alexa ranking, but MM believes in it]>>

Our co-moderator friend Tanbira Talukdar has addressed the issue nicely in her Bangla response. So I won't say much except that the very comparison was once made by you. As for now, I'd say what I said in the past--
MM is NOT here to stay based on so called hits. MM knows what we want at MM, and how we can achieve it. Yet we're open to any suggestions. But increasing hits at any cost? No, thanks!

<<Although I must tell you I wanted to help MM in many ways through exchange of relevant articles etc. I wanted to popularize MM among Bengalis of WB origin.>>

What is "relevant" to you may simply appear nonsense to others simply aimed at luring readers/visitors. Besides, did I tell you- gaining cheap popularity has never been our aim. Who do you think is more popular-- a Nelson Mandela or a Silver Stallone?
