Dear Ms. Hashem,
would you pls stick on the topic that is being discussed in this thread? :

I requested you to refute my write-up i.e the points I raised about Marxism under discussion, but you again wrote a piece just defining and clarifying what kind of Islam basher I am. The thread is not about Islam bashing, nor about my characteristics- our point of discussion was communism.
You are a good critic of western policy, we all know. However, I am not calling you "America basher". Again you are all along very sympathetic towards Islamists, and very harsh against all secular writers, even then I am not attributing you "Mukto-Mona basher" etc. This kind of name-calling will lead us nowhere. I again repeat, by pointing what kind of basher I am does not invalidate my points. Criticism is some times needed, may be rather harshly, no matter whether it is West, India, Islam, Christianity, Judaism, capitalism, rajakarism, creationism... or whatever. You may call it bash or anything, but a true humanist will go on criticizing any kind of inhumane barbarism if he finds in the society. I am not a big supporter of west or USA. I feel pain when an innocent child is being killed in Iraq or a single prisoner is being abused. However, I do not need Marx's theory (Lenin's version) of imperialism to explain it. It is not that there is no such thing called "imperialism", however, my point is that the communist theory of why such things take place is wrong (unscientific) since the facts show that it does not happen in the way their theory describes. According to Marxist view, 'Socialist' states are incapable of imperialism and aggression (as those are the product of capitalism). However the theory did not work as we see aggressive wars waged to extend or restore Russian and Chinise power in Hungary (1956), Czechoslovakia (1968), Afghanistan (1979), Tibbet and against India etc which clearly falsifies the theory. It is a proven fact that not only capitalist states, but also the communist states practiced aggression, and refused independence to smaller nations already in their grasp. In fact, there are many other motives for aggression and for imperialism than those which Lenin had traced to the nature of capitalism. If you see the history you will find that most probably near 170,000,000 people have been murdered in cold- blood by governments, well over three-quarters by absolutist regimes. The most such killing was done by the Soviet Union (near 62,000,000 people), the communist government of China is second (near 35,000,000), followed by Nazi Germany (almost 21,000,000), and Nationalist China (some 10,000,000). Lesser megamurderers include WWII Japan, Khmer Rouge Cambodia, WWI Turkey, communist Vietnam, post-WWII Poland, Pakistan, and communist Yugoslavia. Not in every case capitalist imperialism was involved, it is rather POWER PLAY that makes people aggressive. The more arbitrary power a regime has, the less democratic it is, the more likely it will kill its subjects or foreigners. US is aggressive now, because he is the sole superpower, she can invade a country even violating UN regulation. Russia was also a super power once and they also had the bloody history, despite the fact they were communists, not capitalist. So my conclusion is that POWER kills, and absolute power kills absolutely.
You said, "Mr. Avijit has also problem of identification of real enemy of the people."
Well, nobody is my enemy here. We might have some philosophical/political/cultural differences, but I do not consider anyone as my enemy. I do not want to debate or discuss for creating antagonism or hostility. We may differ in opinion, but if we cannot discuss and share our knowledge in a friendly manner, what sort of human we are?
best regards,
Avijit
P.S. I always consider you my well wisher and you will always be.
